Man punched 14-year-old before robbing him of $7 and an iPhone on an Astoria street

Police are looking for a man who punched a 14-year-old boy in the face and stole $7 and an iPhone from him in Astoria.

On July 26 at 7:50 a.m., a man approached the boy at Astoria Boulevard and 44th Street, punched him and stole his iPhone 4 and cash. He then fled eastbound on 44th Street.

The individual is described as a white male, 20- t0 25-years-old, about 5 feet, 6 inches and 150 pounds with a beard. He was last seen wearing a dark colored shirt, white pants and black sneakers.
