Cops need your help in finding a man wanted for allegedly stabbing a man in the face with a screwdriver at a Jamaica Hills home earlier this month.

Police identified the suspect as Anthony Claudel, 25, whose last known address is in Brooklyn. The 107th Precinct published on its Twitter account on May 26.

Law enforcement sources said Claudel attacked the 35-year-old male victim at a home on 162nd Street near Normal Road at 11:50 a.m. on May 15.

Sources familiar with the investigation stated that the victim, who owns the property, arrived to change the lock on the home of a tenant, who was identified as Claudel’s friend. Police said Claudel attacked the landlord upon his arrival, stabbing him in the face with a screwdriver, then fleeing the scene.

Police responded to the incident; the landlord sought medical treatment on his own for a laceration and other minor injuries.

The NYPD described Claudel as a black man with black hair and brown eyes, standing 5 foot 5 inches tall and weighing 150 pounds. He was last seen wearing a red hooded sweatshirt.

Anyone with information regarding Claudel’s whereabouts is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS, visit their website or send a text message to 274637 (CRIMES), then enter TIP577. All calls and messages are kept confidential.
