Police are looking for a man who drove off with a huge score after robbing a Fresh Meadows bank at gunpoint on Wednesday morning.
At 9:08 a.m on Sept. 20, a man wearing grey sweatpants entered a Queens County Savings Bank located 61-49 188th St. Once inside, the man approached the counter and displayed a firearm, demanding cash.
The teller complied and the suspect took $50,000 from the ATM vault, according to the bank. The suspect then fled in a silver Toyota, heading north on 188th Street toward the Long Island Expressway.
Officers from the 107th Precinct responded to the scene; there were no reported injuries.
The investigation is ongoing.
