Cops searching for two men who held up a Jamaica barber shop at gunpoint

Police are looking for two men who robbed a barber shop in Jamaica at gunpoint and fled with a number of valuables.

On Sept. 23, at 9:10 p.m., two unknown individuals entered a barber shop located at 92-06 170th St. Once inside, they demanded property at gunpoint from six individuals who were inside the location.

The victims complied, handing over an undetermined amount of cash, cell phones, jewelry and other miscellaneous items. The individuals then fled on foot southbound on 170th Street. There were no reported injuries as a result of this incident.

The two suspects are described as black males. The first suspect was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, hat, blue jeans, white sneakers and was carrying a backpack while the second suspect was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and black sneakers.
