Police are searching for a man who sexually assaulted a woman in her apartment located just over the Ridgewood/Bushwick border.
At 10:35 a.m. on Oct. 14, a 24 year-old woman was asleep in her bed inside a residential building, located in the vicinity of Halsey Street and Central Avenue. As she was sleeping, an unknown individual entered the woman’s apartment and sexually assaulted her.
The victim was able to push the suspect off, who then fled the location. The victim was later transported to Woodhull Hospital where she was treated and released.
The suspect is described as a white male standing 5 feet, 10 inches tall and weighing 180 pounds. He was last seen wearing black hooded sweatshirt and black jeans.
