Burglar steals cash and AV equipment from a Queens Sikh temple

Cops have released video footage of a man behind an unholy crime in South Ozone Park.

Law enforcement sources said the perpetrator broke into the Gurdwara Sant Masha Singh Karamjot Sikh temple located at 109-42 Van Wyck Expwy. at 11:13 p.m. on Dec. 27 through a side window.

Once inside the house of worship, police said, the crook removed $5,000 in cash along with an amplifier, a camera and a microphone. He then fled the scene in an unknown direction. The burglary was reported to the 106th Precinct.

Police described the suspect as a black man between 30 and 35 years of age with facial hair who was last seen wearing a black hat, a black jacket, blue jeans and black sneakers.

Video footage from the scene (below) shows the suspect looking up at a nearby camera and unplugging a cable from it.
