Patient bank robber waited in line to steal cash in Jamaica

Cops are looking for a note-passing crook who waited in line to rob a Jamaica bank.

At 1:31 p.m. on Dec. 21, an unknown man entered a Capital One Bank, located at 146-21 Jamaica Ave., and got in line. When he was finally called to the counter, police said, he presented to the teller a note demanding cash.

The suspect then repeated his demand verbally and received over $200 in cash, law enforcement sources said. The bandit exited the bank and fled south on Sutphin Boulevard.

Officers from the 103rd Precinct responded to the incident.

Police described the crook as a heavy-set black man standing 6 feet, 4 inches tall. He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, grey shorts with yellow stripe going down side, and dark footwear.
