Plans for a 13-story, mixed-use building in Flushing have been filed with the city’s Department of Buildings, it was reported.

The lot, which encompasses 137-45 to 137-61 Northern Blvd., is the former home of the Great Wall Supermarket and sits next to Flushing Town Hall. The development will include a 244-room Westin Hotel as well as 38 apartments that will start at the 10th floor of the building.

Raymond Chan Architect is the designer behind the project.

The 152-story, 228,083-square-foot development will allot 101,000 square feet for the hotel, 42,000 square feet for apartments and 2,270 for community facilities. The building will include 64 parking spaces and 40 spaces for bicycle parking, and hotel guests will have access to a swimming pool, fitness center, ballroom, laundry services, storage facilities and conference rooms, according to New York YIMBY.

Plans were filed in August to demolish the existing one-story building by George Xu, the building’s developer. At this time it is unclear when the demolition will be completed.
