Three units are up for grabs in a new affordable housing lottery that has opened for a building in Corona.

The available units, located inside 57-27 Granger St., consist of one, 1-bedroom unit and two, 2-bedroom units.

The newly constructed four-story building itself is located near several bus lines including the Q38, Q23, and Q58.

The single one-bedroom unit is priced at $1,490 per month, and is available to households between one and three people. Individuals applying for the unit must make between $51,086 and $97,110. Households of two can have a combined salary up to $111,020, and households of three can make up to $124,930.

The two-bedroom units will cost a few hundred dollars more at $1,801 per month. Households between two and five people in size are eligible to apply, with all households needing to have a minimum income of $61,749. Eligible income is capped at $149,890 for households of five.

While tenants will be chosen through a lottery system, some preference will be given to those with vision, hearing and mobility disabilities.

Tenants will be responsible for all utilities. The deadline to apply for the lottery is May 17.
