Six-car crash on Cleaview Expressway sends two to the hospital: FDNY

A six-car accident on the Clearview Expressway near Fresh Meadows brought traffic to a halt on Thursday, Aug. 20.

The FDNY received a call around 2 p.m. regarding an accident along the Clearview Expressway and Horace Harding Expressway at the Exit 4 southbound ramp, according to the fire department.

Fire fighters and EMS personnel arrived to find approximately six cars involved in the crash, according to the authorities.

Two people were taken to NewYork-Presbyterian Queens Hospital, the fire department said.

The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
