Police from the 104th Precinct in Ridgewood and Transit District 33 are looking for a man who allegedly snapped upskirt photos of a female straphanger who was waiting at a subway station in Bushwick last week.

Authorities say that around 1:28 in the morning of Thursday, Sept. 23, on the ascending escalator inside the Myrtle/Wyckoff Avenues L train station, a man approached a 25-year-old woman from behind and placed his cellphone under her skirt and in between her legs.

The victim turned to confront the man when she felt the phone touch her thigh. The assailant walked down the escalator and fled out to the street, according to the NYPD.

Investigators released a surveillance photo and a video that shows an Asian man between 25 to 28 years old who is approximately 5 feet, 7 inches tall and was last seen wearing a black mask, a white T-shirt, dark-colored shorts, white sneakers and a black backpack.

No arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing.

Anyone with information in regard to the identity of the suspects is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 888-57-PISTA (74782).
