A new Korean barbecue restaurant just opened on Bell Boulevard, becoming the newest eatery to take residency on the foodie lover’s thoroughfare.

On Sunday, Dec. 5, Mister Seoul made a soft opening at 39-35 Bell Blvd. in a Bayside storefront previously occupied by the now-closed D’Alessandro’s Corner Grill. Marketing itself as “the hottest new Korean BBQ in Queens,” the restaurant offers customers a familiar communal dining experience complete with an array of grilled chicken, beef and pork.

Prior to Mister Seoul’s debut, the storefront was home to businesses like D’Alessandro’s Corner Grill, run by the owners of D’Alessandro’s Food Market, and the Pita Pan, which has locations in Astoria and Brooklyn.

The restaurant did not respond to a request for an interview with QNS but according to its social media page, Mister Seoul is in its “extended soft opening” and has not set an official date for the grand opening.

Mister Seoul is currently open daily from 5 p.m. to midnight and customers who dine there get 25 percent off of their bill as part of its soft opening promotion.
