The Carnaval De La Cultura Latina will be returning to Jackson Heights on Sept. 18 in celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month.

In addition to providing entertainment for the whole family, the Carnaval will promote the art, music, dance and great food from Latino cultures, which are all well represented in the borough of Queens.

An array of family activities and interactive experiences will be available at the pavilions. Many of these activities and experiences will have an emphasis on health and wellness for the whole family.

With New York City another year removed from the pandemic, the expectation is that attendance will be much higher compared to last year, which would result in more free health screenings.

Alcohol will not be served at the event. The organizers are still accepting sponsorship applications.
