The NYPD is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individual responsible for stealing $1,100 from a victim who dropped his wallet inside the mezzanine level at the Wyckoff Avenue and Myrtle Avenue subway station L line.

On Tuesday, Sept. 27, at approximately 1:50 p.m., police from the 104th Precinct say a 57-year-old male dropped his wallet after purchasing a MetroCard when the unidentified individual was seen picking it up and removing the contents, which was approximately $1,100. 

The male is described as being in his 30s and having a dark complexion and a thin build. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweater with a white T-shirt underneath, dark pants and a white durag and carrying a black bookbag.
