Cops from the 112th Precinct and 20th Transit District are looking for the woman who doused an MTA employee in the face with an unknown substance that caused burning and irritation to his face after being involved in a dispute at the 75th Avenue subway station in Forest Hills earlier this week.

Police say that the 36-year-old male victim, an on-duty MTA employee, was in a supply room at the mezzanine area of the station just before 6 p.m. on April 18, when the woman engaged him in a verbal dispute. A police spokesperson told QNS it is not clear what the nature of the dispute was.

The woman proceeded to throw an unknown substance in the victim’s face, causing burning and irritation. A police spokesperson could not confirm what the substance was, but speculated that it may have been a cleaning product.

The victim was removed to Long Island Jewish Forest Hills Hospital for treatment.

The woman fled on foot and was last seen at the Forest Hills–71st Avenue subway station, police said.

The NYPD released surveillance video and an image of the suspect on April 21.

The video shows the woman, who has a medium complexion and is approximately 5 feet, 6 inches tall and 175 pounds, jumping a turnstile to enter the station.
