About 70 politicians, local activists and Queens residents turned out for a forum on hate crimes in Glen Oaks Tuesday night to support statewide hate crimes legislation and to put political pressure on the state Senate to vote on the measure.
Originally scheduled to be held at the Samuel J. Field Y in Little Neck, the forum, which was co-sponsored by 14 Queens political groups, was relocated to Temple Sholom in Glen Oaks because of a last- minute scheduling conflict.
