Even after the city agreed to install a traffic light at 64th Street and Cooper Avenue, the deadly Glendale intersection is still causing controversy.

The DOT agreed to put up the light at 64th Street this summer, after the death of an elderly man at the spot spurred months of protest and letter-writing pleading for a light.
