The Floral Park community, located in the northern end of the 105th Police Precinct, has been besieged by a rash of burglaries over the past 2 1/2 months.
According to Sally Martino-Fisher, district manager for Community Board 13, four of the burglaries have taken place at 268th Street between 79th and 80th avenues, 265th Street between 80th and 81st avenues, 266th Street north of Union Turnpike and 266th Street between 80th and 81st avenues.
Martino-Fisher said the middle-class, residential neighborhood is up in arms over the break-ins.
