Several politicians and community activists gathered at the historic Quaker meeting house in Flushing Sunday for a ceremony rededicating the Freedom Mile.
State Sen. Frank Padavan (R-Bellerose), and state Sen. Toby Stavisky (D-Flushing) joined with borough historian Stanley Cogan, and Queens Historical Society and the Flushing Freedom Mile Committee members to pay tribute to the tourist attraction.
