Panel OKs Malba exit ramp work

Community Board 7 members unanimously passed a motion Monday night which Malba residents believe will improve hazardous conditions at the 14th Avenue exit off the Whitestone Expressway.

Nearly a dozen people who live near the exit appealed to the board to approve city and state plans that call for studies and improvements of the ramp, which merges with Parsons Boulevard just across from the eastern end of Center Drive.
