ABC Pre-School/Summer Camp

Camp is open from July 3 through Aug. 25 for children ages 2 1/2 to 8.
ABC offers half- or full-day schedules as well as full- and split-week programs. There is a huge lawn play area outside, as well as air-conditioned buildings where activities are conducted. Children are taken on field trips.
Facilities include three large in-ground filtered pools, a swimming instructor and even a special pool for those water-shy tots. Nutritious hot lunches are served daily. For an extra charge, there is door-to-door transportation for the children.
Registration closes in May.
Adventureland Day Camp

Camp is open in small groups to kids up to age 12.
With modern indoor and outdoor facilities, the children spend their time playing sports, swimming, playing games, listening and playing music, seeing shows and making things in arts and crafts.
Transportation available at reasonable rates.
The program starts the day after public schools end, and continues until the day before public schools open back up in the fall. Registration starts the first week of April and continues through the summer.
Bright Beginnings Day Camp

Open to children ages 6 to 12.
With extended hours for working parents, Bright Beginnings offers breakfast to all children. This eight-week program begins July 5. Registration begins in May. At an extra cost, transportation is available.
Campers go on trips, play sports and cool off in the swimming pool. Lunch is provided.
Forest Park Day Camp

With two outdoor swimming pools available, children from ages 1 1/2 to 6 can cool off after playing sports or many other outdoor activities. Trips are also scheduled.
Lunches and snacks are provided for the children.
Magic Carpet Day Camp

With door-to-door transportation provided for the children, they will be well their way for very fun days.
Activities include private swimming instruction, sports, arts and crafts, music and dance, as well as exciting trips and special events. There is licensed professional supervision. Sessions last from two to eight weeks.

A performing arts camp with concentrations in ballet, music and acting, trips are taken to museums and theaters.
This program starts the day school ends and continues until the day before school starts in the fall. Lunch and snacks are provided.

World of Discovery Day Camp

Open to kids ages 4 to 14.
Camp starts July 3 and continues through the summer until Aug. 25.
Activities include sports, music and dance, swimming in the outdoor pool, karate, arts and crafts and gymnastics. There is free transportation provided for all children.

YMCA Summer Fun
The YMCA's Summer Fun day camps offer kids a variety of activities, including swimming and other sports and very exciting trips.

This after-school program for kids ages 5 to 13 also features a summer program with three different sessions. It begins in early July and runs through the beginning of September. Activities include drama, dance, writing, art and sports.
