History was made last weekend as the New York Yankees swept a Subway Series doubleheader against the Mets Saturday, becoming the first team in major league history to win ballgames in two separate parks on the same day. The fact that they did it against their hometown rivals only made it that much more historic.
The two teams hooked up for the second time this year over the weekend, giving diehard baseball fans a reason to cheer or boo, depending on their perspectives.
