Some 100 people representing Native American tribes from across the country came to Flushing Meadows Corona Park last weekend for a two-day Circle of Nations Pow Wow at Flushing Lake.
This was the second annual pow wow organized by the Cherokee Blackfeet Cultural Circle, a Long Island-based organization dedicated to teaching and advocating Native American causes.
A few visitors came to view the dancing to traditional drumbeats, and to shop at the various crafts stands that were set up.
