School site search irks civic group

The angst began to flow the moment that makeshift classrooms of a newly minted laboratory school were set up on the Queens College campus nearly two years ago.

School officials received a barrage of questions almost immediately: Who would attend? How much noise would there be? Would the college be extended into the neighboring community?

For almost two years, debate after debate failed to answer the questions to the satisfaction of Flushing and Kew Gardens residents.
