Joseph Farber will be reinstalled as president of the Queens Chamber of Commerce and Joseph R. Ficalora as treasurer at noon Wednesday, April 18, at Flushing Meadows Corona Park.
Borough President Claire Shulman will induct the two as well as the new members of the board of directors at the chamber’s 89th annual meeting.
Farber and Ficalora will begin their new yearlong terms on May 1.
The new directors, who will serve from May 1 until April 30, 2004, are Michael K. Billia, Gus Buitrago, Estelle Cooper, Eda Easton, David F. Gedris, Howard Graf, Alfred J. Graser, Owen A. Jackson, Stanley J. Legan, Mark H. Mantell, William D. Martin, Stephen S. Mills, Joseph J. Saporito, Sher Sparano, Carmine M. Tenga, Mary A. Vavruska and Henry Wan.
Tickets for the luncheon, at Terrace on the Park in Flushing Meadows Corona Park are $42, and $390 for a table of 10. Reservations are required.
