OAKLAND GARDENS —— Fire fighters rescued four people from a fire in a private home Friday, police said.
Two women, ages 64 and 41, and two men, 33 and 36, were rescued from the fire at 210-11 58th Ave. in Oakland Gardens at about 2:20 a.m., said Detective Madelyne Galindo, a police spokeswoman.
The victims were taken to several different area hospitals.
There was no word on how the fire started, Galindo said.
