The four divisions are the Bantams, ages 5 to 9; the Biddies, ages 10 to 11; the Midgets, ages 12 to 13; and the Juniors, ages 14 to 17. All the divisions play each other for 16 Saturdays after a four-week instructional period.
The children are from the neighboring communities of Laurelton, Rosedale, Hollis and Cambria Heights. The basketball program started in 1976, though the association began in 1962. George Wiggan is the basketball program director and John Hopkins is the president of the association.
