In the second game, Snows’ Rita Romeo got her team off to a fast start as she served to give OLS a 7-0 lead. The serving of Colleen Harrison, Theodora Alexandrou, Sara Correa and Hannigan helped increase the lead. Smolen finished it off and got the win for OLS.

The third game and tie-breaker started off close with OLS leading 4-0, but OLMC came back and got the score to 4-3. With Hannigan serving, Courtney Gratzer, Alexandrou and Correa combined to make a beautiful defensive play that kept the ball in Hannigan’s hands.

Hannigan showed great concentration and determination in serving 11 straight points to win the game and secure the championship for Our Lady of the Snows.
