Every Saturday from through June 21 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Cunningham Park, more than 800 boys and girls will participate in this year’s Turn 2 Youth Baseball Clinics.
The clinics, now in their seventh year, are designed to teach children 8 to 13 in all five boroughs the fundamentals of baseball while emphasizing the importance of sportsmanship and teamwork.
This year’s clinic will culminate with the annual Turn 2 Kidfest, a day of baseball contests and games, as well as a visit to a game at Yankee Stadium. This event is free and open to everyone, with a one-time on-site reservation. For more information, go to www.nyc.gov/parks.
