The City Parks and Recreation Department wants Queens residents to spike up the weekend with the Citywide Beach Volleyball Tournament.
Held Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 9 and Aug. 10, the Queens preliminaries will be held at Beach 86 on Rockaway Beach from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Aug. 9.
Get your team ready today and head to your borough preliminaries to compete in Men’s and Women’s Open Doubles, Men’s and Women’s A & B Doubles, and Coed Novice Quads.
If you’ve got what it takes, you’ll advance to the Citywide Championships. This is a rain or shine event that is free and open to everyone. There are great prizes, including goodie bags for all registrants.
