With a host of special guests joining the Queens Symphony orchestra for its Concerts on the Green series, there is sure to be something for everyone in the borough’s parks this summer.
Queens Symphony Orchestra continues its 50 years of tradition bringing seniors, families and young adults together for a fun and informal event in beautiful park settings throughout the borough to enjoy free concerts and experience the excitement of orchestral music in all forms: classical, Broadway, pops and opera.
These performances help strengthen community ties by providing programming of musical excellence celebrating the multi-cultural and musical richness of Queens through the orchestra’s selection of compositions, artistic themes and guest artists. QSO’s vision and mission reflect its priority of service to the Queens community as the borough’s only professional orchestra and the oldest and largest professional performing arts organization of Queens.
