Investigators were searching the home of Gregory Gilmore at 104-14 Pinegrove St. in Jamaica after obtaining an arrest warrant against the man in a separate child pornography case last year when they came upon evidence that he had been disseminating lewd photos of a 9-year-old girl who is related to him, court documents said.Gilmore's attorney, Peter Kirchheimer, said he did not want to comment on the case against his client.Gilmore worked for a food vendor company that serviced Shea Stadium and Nassau Coliseum, a law enforcement source said.He was charged with possessing and distributing images of child pornography, a spokesman for the U.S. attorney said.The warrant for Gilmore's arrest, filed in federal court in Brooklyn, was issued on Nov. 5. A search of Gilmore's computer allegedly revealed hundreds of pornographic images of children, some of which were in the outbox of his America Online account, according to the warrant, according to the criminal complaint.He was arrested on Nov. 10 in his Jamaica home, during which an FBI agent searched his home and found a video camera in his bedroom, the complaint said.When asked whether he had taken pornographic images of a 9-year-old female relative, Gilmore responded “not that I recall,” the complaint said.The mother of the 9-year-old girl told authorities, however, that photos of her daughter were on Gilmore's computer, the document said.More than 40 images of the girl were discovered on Gilmore's computer, including ones where he was touching the 9-year-old girl inappropriately and forcing oral sex on her, according to the complaint.At least six of those 40 images were discovered on his AOL account sent as e-mail, the U.S. attorney's office alleged in the complaint.Federal investigators uncovered hundreds of pornographic images of children on his computer, the according to the complaint.Gilmore was due back in court Feb. 2 before Judge I.
