Job: Deborah Gregor is the Executive Director of the Forest Hills Jewish Center. She has been working there for seven months. Prior to her recent occupation, she worked at the Brandeis School in Lawrence. “I became involved in Jewish communal work when my children attended the Brandeis School,” explained Gregor.
Family Facts: Gregor has been married to her husband, Jacob for 28 years. They have two children, Miri, 21 and Jacob, 23.
Education: Gregor attended Cooper Union in Manhattan where she got her B.A. in Mechanical Engineering.
Favorite Memory: “Holidays with my family. Just having everybody together.”
Biggest Gripe: “I hate traffic.”
Job Goals: “I want the community to know how great the Forest Hills Jewish Center is. It is a warm and friendly environment. They welcomed me in and they welcome everyone in.”
Hobbies: “My husband and I love to hike and cook,” noted Gregor. “I'm a big reader. I like to read.”
