Arrest In Bias Crime
Police have apprehended three youths in connection with last month’s vandalism of the Chabad Temple in Bayside.
Rabbi Yossi Blesofsky told The Queens Courier that the suspects, ages 15, 16, and 17, who allegedly tagged the temple and school with graffiti that included the word “Hitler,” were apprehended because of “good police work.”
“My goal, if I have any say in their prosecution, is not to hurt these kids, but to explain to them and educate them about Hitler and what he did to the world,” said Blesofsky.
