Community Board 10 selected a former legislative aide and longtime employee of the Department of Environmental Protection to be its next district manager on Thursday, February 16, ending a grueling, three-month selection process.
Bronx native and Pelham Bay resident Kenneth Kearns, 48, will begin a six-month interim period as manager of Board 10 on Monday, April 3, succeeding Jimmy Vacca, who left the position after 26 years to become the local councilman in January.
