The state's leading rusher (2,126 yards), who was also recruited by Rutgers, Temple and Cornell, signed a letter of intent with Hofstra last week and will suit up for the Pride as a freshman next season.The 5-foot-11, 188-pound Aime, 18, was named to the All-New York State, All-New York City and All-Queens teams this past season for the CHSFL 'AA' champion Terriers. He was also the TimesLedger 2005 Football Player of the Year.Also headed to Hofstra is Christ the King senior cornerback Jaron McNeil.The Brooklyn native was an all-purpose player for the Royals this season, racking up 1,000 yards receiving and 800 yards rushing, good enough for all-league honors.McNeil's Christ the King teammate, All-American Maurice Evans, made it official with Penn State last week, signing a letter of intent with the Nittany Lions.Holy Cross running back Tyrell Coon signed an LOI with Patriot League powerhouse Lafayette last week and Jamaica defensive end Joseph Brown signed a letter of intent with Division II C.W. Post last week.Michelle Betos, the St. Francis Prep senior goalkeeper, signed a letter of intent to play at Georgia last week. The CHSAA player of the year in 2004 and 2005 was named the Terriers MVP this past season and played club ball with Albertson Fury '87.”Michelle Betos is going to elevate our goalkeeping situation right away,” Bulldogs coach Patrick Baker said in a statement. “She comes from an excellent club program and individually has had an exceptional 2005 season.
