Councilwoman Melinda Katz, along with Queens District Attorney Richard Brown, recently presented an official proclamation to the Detective Investigators Association recognizing the special work they do within the city. The proclamation in part stated “Whereas the job of the Detective Investigator is one of the most challenging in law enforcement. Because of the pro-active approach each District Attorney has taken, DIA members have become some of the most experienced investigators in the law enforcement community.” The proclamation was presented to DIA President John M. Fleming on behalf of the 300 Detective Investigators he represents. Pictured from left are Union Members Cres Deluca, Union President John M.
