Queens seniors will be able to get free information on how to make sure their legal affairs are in order through a New York State Bar Association program.
For the past 12 years, the bar association’s Elder Law Section has been holding the Decision Making Day program. This year, it hopes to answer the question “Is your legal house in order?” by having volunteers hold workshops throughout New York State. The topics that will be discussed are New York health care proxies, living wills, do-not-resuscitate orders, general durable power of attorney, organ and tissue donation and probate.

On Tuesday, May 16, at 11 a.m. Nathaniel D. Feller, Esq., will speak at the Young Israel of Wavecrest & Bayswater Senior League, located at 2716 Healy Avenue in Far Rockaway. The coordinator is Fay Gross, who can be reached at (718) 327-0297.
