Gennaro awards essay contest winners

Councilman James Gennaro and Brad Feldman of Northern Appliance present the first annual &#8220Our Green Queens” essay contest winners - Samier Trabilsy of M.S. 216 George J. Ryan in Fresh Meadows, Christine Carroll of M.S. 217 Robert A. Van Wyck Middle School in Jamaica and Emma Berger of I.S. 250 Robert F. Kennedy in Flushing - with their awards. Gennaro and Northern Appliance sponsored the essay contest in the public middle schools in Gennaro's district and asked the students to answer the question &#8220What do you think is the one best action that people in our community can take to protect our environment?”
