Hugh J. Caulfield

Hugh J. Caulfield, a retired FDNY captain, passed away on November 9.
Caulfield was also a retired fire science professor at John Jay College.
Beloved husband of the late Maureen. Devoted father of Catherine Russell, James Caulfield, Mary Jean Lavin, Eileen Lynch and Hugh Caulfield Jr.
Dear brother of John Caulfield. He is also survived by 11 loving grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Arrangements were handled by the Martin A. Gleason Funeral Home in Whitestone. A Mass of Christian burial was held at St. Mel's R.C. Church. Interment was at Flushing Cemetery.
