Woman Hit By Car
A 74-year-old woman was struck and killed at the intersection of Parsons and Northern Boulevards on January 7. Police responded to the scene, where an initial investigation revealed that Yong Sun Choi had crossed between cars and was struck by a 1998 Ford Explorer traveling eastbound on Northern Boulevard. Choi was taken to Flushing Hospital, where she was pronounced dead. The driver remained at the scene, but no criminality is suspected.
