Services: Gas carts, pull carts. Clubhouse is undergoing renovation, so “we are operating out of trailers till autumn,” said Lorraine Mancuso, who works in the pro shop. “I think this course is still the most heavily played course in the country,” she added.

Situated at the highest point in the borough, it offers views of the Manhattan skyline. Original golf course was designed by architect Willie Tucker in 1927 and renovated by Steven Kay in 2004. Course 18 holes, par 67; Hours: sunrise – sunset, 7 days. NYC public rates apply.
Services: Full service snack bar, pro shop, now adding a patio. Outings in conjuction with Douglaston Manor next door. “It's the best course in the city right now,” said Lou Cuoco, who works in the pro shop. USGA rating: 65.5 / 110 men, 62.1/106 for women. Use www.golfnyc.com for reservations.

Hours: sunrise-sunset; 7 days week, weather permitting. Services: Clubhouse, snack bar, gasoline carts but they're not required. Fees are set by city. Weekdays $31 per person for a city resident, senior citizen over 62, $15.50 per person to walk; gas carts $32 for two, $18 for single.

Pitch & Putt Hours: 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. year-round. In mid-May, lights go on and hours will be extended. Pitch and Putt (Par 3 – 18-hole lighted course) allows experienced golfers to sharpen their approach shots, while allowing inexperienced golfers to experience the game.
Miniature golf 8 a.m to 7 pm. These hours will also change in mid-May when the lights go on. If full-swing golf isn't your game, the miniature golf course allows family and friends to come together and enjoy a round of mini-golf.
