Thousands of passengers have had their travel plans disrupted, or flat-out cancelled, in the last few days and Terminal 6 at John F. Kennedy Airport, where the low-fare airline is based, has been a scene of frustration since last Wednesday.
A JetBlue spokesman confirmed Monday that about 25 percent of the airline's flights including all flights to 11 mid-market cities, were cancelled during the three-day holiday weekend.
The spokesman said that by Tuesday JetBlue hoped to be operating about 90 percent of its flights, with a return to full-speed expected by Wednesday.
The spokesman said the same thing Friday, however, only to have the airline cancel hundreds of flights.
