Springfield Gardens nanny abused boy: Cops

Carol Howell Clarke, of 176th Street in Springfield Gardens, is due back in court Feb. 22 to face four counts of sexual abuse. She is currently being held at the Nassau jail in East Meadow, Rice's spokeswoman said.

Clarke, who had been working as a nanny for a family in North Woodmere, was arrested Feb. 13 after a “nanny cam” allegedly caught her sexually abusing the 2-year-old victim, the spokeswoman said.
