Students study genetics at Hall of Science

Students from M.S. 202Q R.H. Goddard School in Ozone Park tried their luck at the “Heredity Slots” machine at the New York Hall of Science. The slot machines demonstrate the odds that children will inherit genes for certain characteristics. The slot machines are just one of the many interactive elements that are a part of GENOME: The Secret of How Life Works, on display at the Hall through May 6.
