Shooting Leaves One Dead

A man was killed in his car on April 6 as he and his girlfriend were driving another friend to JFK Airport to catch a flight.
According to police, the incident, which they are describing as a drug feud, began on the Van Wyck Expressway when the victim, Scott Richards, 34, and the unnamed passenger began arguing.
Richards was shot twice in the head. The victim’s girlfriend, who had been driving, was forced to drop the suspect off at Terminal 7. He then allegedly caught a livery cab and fled.
The unnamed girlfriend drove Richards to his family’s South Ozone Park home where he died.
