Help Police Nab Thieves
Police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating two women wanted for duping and robbing unsuspecting victims.
According to cops, on April 11 at the corner of Liberty Avenue and 112th Street, the victim, a 57-year-old woman, was approached by the two suspects, who showed her a large amount of money they had found in a bag.
The suspects then told the victim they wanted to invest the money but needed an additional $10,000. She agreed, and after turning over the money, the perps fled in an older-model blue four-door sedan.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS.
