The South Queens Boys & Girls Club (SQBGC), in conjunction with the City Bar Justice Center, is hosting citizenship application workshops called “Queens Citizenship Days” for legal permanent residents who qualify for U.S. citizenship, on Friday, May 4 starting at 1 p.m. at the South Queens Boys & Girls Club at 110-04 Atlantic Avenue in Richmond Hill.
The workshops enable qualified permanent residents to apply for citizenship quickly and easily. Free assistance is given by lawyers and paralegals to prepare naturalization applications. Referrals are also given for additional legal services, if needed, and information on free citizenship classes is available.
This program is sponsored by Councilmember Joseph Addabbo and the NYC Council and is supported by Senator Serphin Maltese. Addabbo and Maltese have been a long-time supporters of the South Queens Boys & Girls Club and champions for the youth of south Queens.
