Minnie P. Montera

Minnie P. Montera, a lifelong resident of Long Island City and Astoria, passed away on June 2. She was 97 years old.
Predeceased by her husband Adolph and son, Paul, she is survived by son, Peter P. Montera, retired Circulation Manager of the New York Daily News; daughter Anne Poskiff; nine grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Interment was at New Calvary Cemetery. A memorial Mass was held at Saint Thomas More R.C. Church in Breezy Point.
