Ozone Howard's World Series Champs

Ozone Howard's top division finished a great best of three World Series with a 5-0 win by Color Carton (ranked first in the regular season) to secure the championship over Auction Outlet (coached by Rusty DiLorenzo). Color Carton won a nail biter (3-2) in the first game of the series on June 17, with a three-run home run by Nicky LoPrinzi; and then the Scrappy Auction Outlet team came back on June 18 with Rosario DiLorenzo on the mound shutting down the powerful Color Carton Team to win game two, 7-4. But Color Carton's offense was too much to handle in game number three as LoPrinzi almost pitched a perfect game, only allowing one walk in the 5th inning. Color Carton's team got timely hits by Daniel Mole, Michael Guidici, and Michael Abrams and a solo homerun by Thomas Perrone.
